This page explains, in plain English, what happens to your data when you use this platform. Short version: your resume file is never stored; your profile is stored only if you explicitly opt into matching, and you can delete it anytime.

Optimizing your resume (no storage)

When you upload a resume, it is processed in memory to produce your optimized profile and feedback, then discarded. The processing uses an AI engine (Anthropic’s Claude API); per our API terms, your data is not used to train AI models. We keep basic technical logs (timestamps, token counts) that contain no resume content.

Matching against live roles (opt-in storage)

If — and only if — you tick the “match me against live roles” box, we store your optimized profile (name, contact details, experience, skills) in our database, together with your match results. We store the structured profile, not your original file or its raw text.

We use this data for exactly three things:

  • matching you against live roles on this platform,
  • scoring NEW roles against stored profiles when they go live — and emailing you when one matches yours strongly (always with the anonymized role only), and
  • letting our specialist recruiter review strong matches and contact you about them.

Your data is never sold, never shared with employers without talking to you first, and never used for advertising.

Deleting your data

After opting in you receive a private deletion link (also kept on the data deletion page of the browser you used). Using it removes your stored profile and all match results immediately and permanently. If you lose the link, email us from the address on your resume and we delete it manually. Note: alert emails already sent to our recruiter before your deletion cannot be unsent.

Roles stay confidential too

Fairness cuts both ways: hiring companies’ names and compensation details are confidential on this platform. Matching is based on skills, seniority, culture and location — the recruiter shares specifics directly with you when there is a mutual fit.

Cookies & tracking

No tracking cookies, no analytics trackers, no ads. The site uses your browser’s local storage for one thing: keeping your own deletion link available to you.

Where data lives & who to contact

Stored profiles live in an access-controlled Postgres database hosted by our infrastructure provider; the AI processing runs on Anthropic’s API. For any privacy question or request: contact@onramptalent.com.
